The Bob Thomas Equestrian Center was built by horsemen, for horsemen and includes exercise grounds, warm-up rings, two show rings and a Gran Prix Ring. The Stampede Covered 314' x 165' Arena shields both horses and riders from the weather while providing safe footing, while guests and spectators can enjoy seating in shaded bleachers or on grassy hills.
The 11,000 square foot, climate-controlled, indoor pavilion can accommodate exhibitor banquets and festivals with seating overlooking the show rings. With 471 permanent stalls in five barns, plus ample parking for vehicles and trailers, there is plenty of room for events of all sizes. On-site camping hook-ups are conveniently located near the facility. Indoor restrooms round out the list of venue’s amenities.
The venue is staffed by service-oriented people with over twenty years of experience in horse shows. This staff has the knowledge and ability to provide world-class support to local, national and international horse shows.
The Equestrian Center is located on the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Florida and is in the proximity of numerous hotels and restaurants. Nearby shopping and attractions include the Hard Rock Casino, Busch Gardens and some of the finest beaches in the world.
