Tall Tales of Old Florida

Date: Oct 12, 2019

Tour guides will lead you by lantern through the grounds to meet six “tellers” who will share uniquely Florida stories about skunk apes, misbehaving trains, cowhunting giants and other legendary creatures. You will enjoy a magic lantern show, a turn-of-the-20th-century projection technology that led to the birth of the film industry. Hear and see a tale of pirates and ghosts on the silver screen.

Come early and enjoy harvest games and decor while you wait for your tour to begin.

Don't forget to stop by the General Store. Proceeds from our gift shop help support our educational field trip programs.

Pets are not allowed in Cracker Country.

Service animals are allowed, as defined in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or animals approved as part of an exhibition.
Service animal means any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability.
Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
